Cookie and Storage Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026 · QuantGator, India
The short version
This website sets no cookies. The Quant Trading System sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. Neither has advertising, analytics, or anything that tracks you from one site to another.
There is no cookie banner because the only cookie is the one that signs you in. It is strictly necessary for the service you asked for, and therefore does not require consent under most regimes.
The sign-in cookie
When you sign in at app.quantgator.com, it sets a cookie named __Host-qg_auth. It is:
HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it;SecureandSameSite=Lax, so it is not sent over plain HTTP or with requests other sites make in the background;- limited to app.quantgator.com, so no other site, including our own, can read or change it;
- limited to keeping you signed in. It holds the codes that identify your session, not your name, your email address or your trading record.
It lasts up to 30 days from when you sign in, however often you use the app. It ends sooner, and you are asked to sign in again, if it is used from a different browser or operating system, or from another country or network. Signing out removes it straight away.
Our staff sign-in
Our staff use a separate site, admin.quantgator.com, which members never need to visit. It sets its own sign-in cookie, __Host-qg_admin_auth, with the same protections, and a second one for ten minutes while a staff member signs in with Google. Google sets its own cookies for that sign-in, under its own policy.
Browser storage
Your trading record is kept in your account on our servers, not in your browser. The Quant Trading System keeps three small preferences in your browser’s storage, on your own machine: whether it draws its own pointer or your system’s, the day you last dismissed the missing-days reminder, and which connection level you last chose in the Blob Inspector. None of them is sent to us.
Error reports
When a page breaks on this website, in the Quant Trading System or on our staff site, a report goes to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. It carries what went wrong, the page address, your browser and operating system, and the steps just before it, such as the pages you opened and the buttons you pressed.
We set it up not to send your IP address, your cookies or anything you typed into a form, and not to record your screen. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
Third-party services
Pages that embed or link to a third-party service, such as Telegram or a charting platform, send you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them and do not receive what they collect.
